Crisis Behavior Management Training
CBMT training believes that when professionals and individuals are correctly trained to respond to people in or entering a crisis state, they will be able to reduce violent confrontations and thereby decrease Staff and the crisis individual injury. In doing so, the result will be a therapeutic environment that enables the crisis individual and Staff alike to feel safe.

Macdonald Youth Services (MYS) is a 77 year-old leading, trusted and respected registered charitable treatment and support agency. With head office and satellite offices in Winnipeg and Northern offices in Thompson and Opaskwayak Cree Nation, MYS's over 500 full and part-time employees offer a range of innovative community-based placement and support programs that meet the needs of thousands of Manitoba’s young people.
 
Tiny Giant - The Students Commission
The Students Commission is a charitable organization dedicated to creating and promoting opportunities for young people to learn and grow in a positive and safe environment. Young people from all backgrounds, working in partnership with supportive adults hone their skills by getting involved with any of the mulitple projects and programs that we as an organization and all of our partners are working on. We believe that all young people have endless potential and encourage them to use it to the best of their abilities, by engaging them on issues that concern them, no matter where they are coming from. It is the belief of this organization that engaging young people in an effective and meaningful way creates resiliency, in turn building community and citizenship.
 

Native Counselling Services of Alberta

Native Counselling Services of Alberta is a non-profit organization whose mandate is to promote wellness for Aboriginal individuals, families and communities. The services provided include restorative justice, social programming, community development and wellness initiatives.

 

Boys and Girls Club Community Services - Calgary
Boys and Girls Club Community Services is one of Calgary’s leading youth-serving organizations dedicated to providing a continuum of services that promote healthy growth and learning, youth successful living and family preservation. In addition to seven community-based clubs located in high needs areas in the city, we offer 80 widely differing programs to more than 22,000 young Calgarians.
 

The National Youth In Care Network
The National Youth In Care Network (NYICN) is a non-profit, charitable organization run by and for young people, aged 14 to 24, who are or have been in the care of child welfare authorities across Canada. The NYICN was founded in 1986 by a group of young people dedicated to the idea of youth empowerment. Many of our members are experienced peer mentors and peer advocates with the underlying philosophy of "youth helping youth".

The Support Network
The Support Network, located in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, is a "first call for help" for the community. We're here to make sure there is somewhere that people can turn. You can always talk to us. Our centre offers help-lines you can call, suicide prevention and bereavement support, a walk-in counselling centre and information on community services.

Spaulding for Children
... believes every child is adoptable and every child deserves a permanent family. This multi-faceted organization provides help to children who wait the longest for permanency and support services for their adoptive, foster and kinship families. Nationwide, Spaulding's NRC provides training, consultation and informational materials for professionals, organizations and parents.

  Reclaiming Youth Network
Reclaiming Youth is a movement of professionals, citizens, parents, and policy leaders concerned with children and youth in conflict in home, school, and community.

Reclaiming Youth provides strength-based conferences, training programs, research, and publications to create environments in which all young people can thrive and grow.
